Asphalt mixtures from JLB Mark & Asfalt, Hagersryd

JLB Mark & Asfalt AB produces and sells asphalt for paving. JLB offers preliminary excavation, ground surface adjustments, and asphalt-laying. The company also offers soil contracting. 

The asphalt mixtures declared in this EPD are manufactured at JLB’s asphalt plant in Hagersryd Berget 2, north-west of the city of Eksjö.

The declared asphalt mixtures produced at the plant in Hagersryd are ABb 16, ABD 16, ABS 11, ABS 16, ABT 8, ABT 11, ABT 16, AG 16, AG 22 and ABS 11 PMB. The asphalt mixtures are intended to be used as a paving material on roads and other asphalted surfaces. The products consist of a mixture of aggregates, penetration bitumen, polymer modified bitumen, reclaimed asphalt, and additives. The amount of each component varies depending on the asphalt mixture.

Since asphalt mixtures comprise valuable resources and are 100 % recyclable, they are reused into new asphalt mixtures. Accordingly, reclaimed asphalt is normally added to the asphalt mixture, replacing virgin aggregate and virgin bitumen. The share of reclaimed asphalt in the asphalt mixtures declared varies between 0–30 weight percent.
