Hydraulic tile with steel slag

PREFABRICADOS VASCOS is a family business which started its activities in 1955, and which is located Larrabetzu (Bizkaia, Spain). The company manufactures outdoor and hydraulic tiles.

In the last years PREFABRICADOS VASCOS has replaced the use of silica for steel slag (derived from the production of steel in a high furnace) for non-white hydraulic tiles. By doing this, the company offers a product with a 15.33% of recycled material in its composition.

This Product Environmental Statement covers the entire range of hydraulic steel slag-containing tiles: the usual gray tiles (without addition of dyes), as well as the color tiles.
