COLORBOND® steel Metallic (MET) is a versatile and highly durable sheet metal cladding material designed to provide long lasting lustre for colour brilliance and a striking ‘metallic’ effect. Typical COLORBOND® steel Metallic applications are for commercial and industrial roofing and walling. COLORBOND® steel Metallic conforms to standards AS 1397:2021 and AS/NZS 2728:2013.

This Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) provides data for one flat square metre (1 m 2 ) of COLORBOND® steel Metallic manufactured by BlueScope in Australia at certain base metal thicknesses (BMTs) ranging from 0.42 to 0.75 mm.

The scope of this EPD is from cradle to gate (modules A1-A3), including end of life (modules C1-C4) and reuse, recovery and/or recycling potential (module D). It includes an extension of the modules A1-A3 to provide indicative results for the final formed product up to the rollformer gate.
