Insulated concrete sandwich elements

Insulated concrete sandwich elements are prefabricated walls that have varying properties depending on customer specifications. Same as with the precast concrete products there are virtually no two elements that are made identical. The parameters that can vary include: 

· Amount of cement (14-20w%) 

· Amount of steel reinforcement (98% recycled steel, 0-4w%) 

· Type of insulation (Expanded polystyrene (EPS) or mineral wool) 

· Amount of insulation (0,7-4,0w% for EPS, 1,0- 5,7w% for mineral wool) 

· Size and dimension of the product 

Insulated concrete sandwich elements are used in all manner of construction projects as part of the building envelope (floor, walls & roof) and are useful in that they can be delivered to the construction site ready to be installed without any drying period or need for labour in the form of insulation filling.
