HAND-MADE BRICK

Saray Tuğla produces hand-made bricks with soils of different properties. Clay accounts for more than 99% of the raw material input. Some additives such as calcite are used during the production as well. Bricks are shipped to the customers with the use of packaging film and wooden pallet as a packaging materials. Typical height of a single brick varies between 48 - 73 mm.

Inheriting years of experience from Abdurrahman Kaba, who has been producing handmade bricks since the 1950s, Edip Kaba commissioned a block brick factory equipped with the technology of the period in 1988, instead of producing handmade bricks in accordance with the needs of the age. Saray Tuğla was established in 1977 and purchased by Edip Kaba in 2010, modernized with a large investment and continued to produce block bricks with the increase in capacity. The company produces block brick types until 2020, has also started to produce handmade products, which is the father’s profession, in order to increase the product variety. We continue to produce high quality new products such as wedge bricks, facing bricks, wall and floor tiles, handmade tiles in our facility, which is established on a total area of 8 5000 m², including 25000 m² closed area and 60000 m² open area.
