Fjärrkyla från Hyllie kylcentral

HKC (Hyllie Kylcentral) was built in 2016. The plant was designed to be able to have 4 cooling machines of 2MW each. So far, 2 machines have been installed and planning will begin for a third machine by 2023. There are two permanent cooling machines and one "semi-permanent": Daikin 2 MW, R134A, centrifugal machine, Carier 500 kW, R1234ze, screw compressor. Open cooling tower: Vestas with chemical dosing. Capacity cooling machines: 2 MW (R134A) + 0.5 MW (R1234ze) with evaporative cooling towers. Free cooling in winter from cooling tower.

The cooling grid in Hyllie was built in 2015 and has 6 connected customers. Pipe material consists of PE with insulated supply. Temperature levels: 6/16 (summer) 12/16 (winter). Installed machine power: 2 + 0.5 MW
