Diathonite Family - Cork-based, natural plasters for thermal and acoustic insulation

The DIATHONITE line is completely made in Italy, and it is characterized by natural raw materials and centennial longevity. These unique, lightweight, porous, elastic and weather-resistant products are all cork-based. Cork is precious raw material with excellent thermal, dehumidifying and insulating properties, and durability over time (performant in cold, hot or in saline environments). Diathonite products consists of high technology formulation that can target specific problem and propose solution for construction. PRODUCTS: For thermal insulation: Diathonite Evolution e Diathonite Thermactive.037 (respectively λ=0.045 W/mK and λ=0.037 W/mK) are formulated with 100% ecological materials. For acoustic insulation and sound absorption: Diathonite Acoustix (NRC=0.60, SAA=0.61) and Diathonite Acoustix+ (NRC=0.75, SAA=0.72) allowing > 70% of sound waves absorbed. For dehumidification: Diathonite Deumix+ (λ=0.080 W/mK), strategic for restoration of masonry characterized by capillary rising damp, while eliminating interstitial condensation. As performant, lightweight premixed thermal screed: Diathonite Massetto (λ=0.060 W/mK), to be used with low thicknesses. For the structural reinforcement of masonry buildings with Composite Reinforced Mortar (CRM) systems: Diathonite Sismactive, designed to be used in the construction of reinforced repointing system.
