Ground Protection Mats
Ground Protection Mats are self-contained, board-type surface protection products designed to provide safe, stable, and durable temporary ground surfaces for vehicles, machinery, and personnel. Manufactured entirely from recycled plastic waste, they are widely used as essential access and surface-protection components across a broad range of sectors, including oil and gas, energy and utilities, construction and infrastructure, civil defense and emergency response, agriculture, public events, marine and coastal zones, and mining or industrial sites.
Typical application areas include temporary access roads, crane and heavy-equipment stabilization, pipeline and cable crossings, temporary flooring, platform decking, and general surface protection in both paved and unpaved environments. All products are surface-laid units suitable for direct placement on the ground, available in standard (1.5–2 cm thickness, 44–60 kg) and heavy-duty (4–8 cm thickness, 120–240 kg) configurations, with load-bearing capacities ranging from 25 up to 360 tonnes depending on ground condition and mat type.
Manufactured from a PE-based composite (recycled PP+LDPE with a carbon black additive), the mats offer high tensile strength (21.9 MPa), good impact resistance (8.55 kJ/m²), and high compression resistance (>58 MPa), together with a wide operating temperature range (−40°C to +70°C) and a B1 burn rating.
Their durable, stackable form make them suitable for repeated, long-term deployment across diverse project environments and industrial settings, while supporting circular economy principles by converting hard-to-recycle plastic waste into a durable, reusable product.
