Steel Pipes - 3LPE - Cement Lining (Water)

Steel pipes coated with 3LPE and lined with cement mortar in multiple dimensions, where this EPD covers pipes with a diameter of 400 mm to 1400 mm. The pipes consist of a steel pipe that lines with cement mortar within to protect the steel pipe from corrosion and abrasion. On the outside, a 3-layer polyethylene (3LPE) coating is applied to keep the water pipes from corroding and as a mechanical protection. The production process is the same for all different dimensions of water pipes.
