Heat exchangers heating air with heat or fluid as the heat carrier
The Duct heat exchangers are designed for air heating or cooling using water as the cooling/heat transfer medium. They can also be used for heat recovery. It is installed in a duct or on an air handling unit wall. The design conforms with the Pressure Equipment Directive PED 2014/68/EU. The model can weigh between 6 – 800 kg, while an average weight of 99 kg was used for the reference model.
General features:
• The construction consists of a fin block, headers, and casing.
• The heat exchanger is equipped with nipples for venting and drainage, and at least one of the nipples can be fitted with a sensor for a frost protection thermostat (not applicable for connection size DN 15).
• As standard, the casing is available with slip-clamp or flanged casing design according to RFHF, RVGL. It is available with or without a drip tray.
• All connections are provided with external pipe threads (SS-EN ISO 228-1).
• The casing meets tightness class B according to VVS AMA 98 / EN 1751.
• The material can be combined in a number of different variants, even for aggressive environments. However, this EPD only covers standard material variants.
