Precast concrete railway sleepers for railway superstructures

This EPD applies to precast concrete railway sleepers for railway superstructures, such as prestressed concrete monoblock sleepers, reinforced biblock sleepers for slab track solutions, prestressed sleepers for track devices, prefabricated slab track and special elements for railway tracks. The main requirement of concrete sleepers is the transmission of vertical, transverse and longitudinal loads from the rails to the ballast or other support.
