Pipe Insulation Products

AEROFLEX elastomeric pipe insulation products are closed-cell EPDM thermal insulation tubes designed to retard heat gain or loss and control condensation formation in plumbing, chilled water, refrigeration, liquid heating, and dual-temperature piping systems. The product range includes factory-slit self-seal tubes with pressure-sensitive adhesive closure systems, unslit tube insulation, and jacketed tube insulation with factory-applied polymeric jacketing for enhanced UV and mechanical protection. These products are suitable for above- and below-ground applications, as well as interior and exterior installations. The insulation products are 25/50-rated through 2 in. (51 mm) thickness, naturally resistant to microbiological growth, GREENGUARD Gold Certified for low chemical emissions, and may contribute to LEED credits. The self-seal configurations are designed to support efficient installation, reduce installation callbacks, and minimize the potential for corrosion under insulation.

The EPD results represent weighted average environmental impacts for the product group, as the included insulation products have similar manufacturing processes, performance characteristics, and end-use applications.
