flowIQ® 2200/3200 water meters
The flowIQ® 2200/3200 (KWM3231) is an ultrasonic water meter designed for water consumption measurement and leak detection. The meter is fully electronic, contains no movable parts and use a static ultrasonic time of flight principle. It consists of a hermetically sealed IP68 top assembly with register and integrated communication functionality, combined with a flow measurement housing manufactured either from composite material or stainless steel. It is available in several pipe dimensions for domestic and commercial applications. The product is available with either LoRaWAN or MBus communication technology and is powered by two A-cell batteries.
To represent a conservative worst-case scenario, the assessment is based on the largest meter size (2”) equipped with a LoRaWAN communication module. As the MBus communication module contains fewer and/or lighter components than the LoRaWAN variant, and smaller meter sizes contain less material, the declared results are considered representative of and conservative for the remaining KWM3231 configurations.
