Bare and Tinned Copper Wires

The products covered by this EPD comprise Class 1 bare copper wires and tinned copper wires manufactured in accordance with IEC 60228. These solid copper conductors are intended for use in power and control cables, earthing systems, and other industrial electrical applications. The manufacturing process begins with high-purity electrolytic copper rod, which undergoes multi-stage wire drawing and annealing to achieve the required electrical and mechanical properties. For tinned copper wires, an additional electrolytic tinning process is applied to enhance corrosion resistance and solderability.
