Bituminous Mixtures - S.C. DUAL GENERAL CONSTRUCT S.R.L.
The principle ingredients of asphalt mixture are aggregates and bitumen. The aggregates (gravel, sand and filler) are bound together with bitumen at high temperatures to form asphalt. Bitumen binds the aggregates together, while filler is used in the asphalt mixture to fill the smallest holes and stabilize the binding material.
