Official product information is available on the INSEE Vietnam website. https://www.siamcitycement.com/vietnam/en/products/607-Cement |
| Technical purpose of product | INSEE Quick Cast is intended for use as a hydraulic binder in precast and cast-in-place concrete applications requiring high early strength development. The product is designed to enable early formwork removal and faster handling of concrete elements, and is suitable for precast elements such as pipes, culverts, spun piles, beams, columns, blocks and prestressed concrete components. INSEE Quick Cast is a blended hydraulic cement classified as CEM II/B-M according to EN 197-1 and HE (High Early Strength) according to ASTM C1157. The product is designed for structural and precast concrete applications requiring accelerated strength development and rapid formwork removal. |
| Manufacturing or service provision description | INSEE Quick Cast cement is produced through an industrial process comprising raw material preparation, clinker production and cement grinding. Limestone and other raw materials are extracted, crushed and processed into raw meal, which is homogenised and fed into a kiln system. The raw meal undergoes preheating, calcination and sintering in a rotary kiln to form clinker. The clinker is subsequently cooled and ground together with gypsum and supplementary cementitious materials to produce the final cement product. The manufacturing process includes the use of fuels, electricity and auxiliary materials, as well as process emissions and internal material handling. The finished cement is supplied in bulk or bagged form for concrete production. |
