Steel structure box columns/Box beams/Bridges

Box column acts as the primary vertical load-bearing component in multi-storey, high-rise and super hig-rise buildings. Box beams is mainly employed as a horizontal flexural member for long-span, heavy-load structures or components requiring special mechanical properties. In modern long-span bridges (especially cable-stayed bridges, suspension bridges and continuous girder bridges), the box girder is the most common form of main girder.
