Western Red Cedar profiled cladding
Western Red Cedar is a stable and lightweight timber that is suitable for external and interior cladding. Slow grown in the Pacific Northwest of Canada, it is sourced from PEFC™ certified forests through trusted forestry partnerships that support environmentally responsible practices. As a small movement timber, it has a low shrinkage rate and resists warping even in fluctuating humidity. Its low density provides excellent insulating properties, helping to improve the overall energy efficiency of buildings. Western Red Cedar’s colour ranges from light amber to deep reddish-brown giving it a warm and natural look. When left to weather naturally, Western Red Cedar will develop a silvery-grey patina.
