Francesca and Giovanni is a 107-minute drama-historical fiction feature film directed by Simona Izzo and Ricky Tognazzi. Set in Sicily (Italy) at the end of the seventies, Francesca and Giovanni tells the story of magistrate Francesca Morvillo and judge Giovanni Falcone. Francesca, deputy prosecutor at the juvenile court of Palermo, deals with cases related to juvenile crime in a context marked by mafia violence and a judicial system often inadequate for the protection of minors.

The meeting with Giovanni Falcone marks a decisive turning point in both his professional and personal life.
