Portland Composite Cement - CPC 40R and CPC 40RS

CPC 40 Gray Cement is a finely ground gray-green material that, when mixed with water, has the property of setting or hardening. It is a Composite Portland Cement, class 40 (high strength), gray in color, suitable for constructing concrete elements and structures where achieving both early and final strength is important. It fully complies with the quality specifications established by the current Mexican cement standard NMX-C-414-ONNCCE.

CPC 40 RS Gray Cement is a finely ground gray-green material that, when mixed with water, has the property of setting or hardening. It is a Composite Portland Cement, class 40 (high strength), gray in color, with a special sulfate resistance (RS) feature. It is suitable for the construction of concrete elements and structures where achieving both early and final strength is important, and its RS property makes it ideal for works exposed to aggressive physicochemical environments such as coastal areas, wastewater, or sulfate-containing conditions. It fully complies with the quality specifications established by the current Mexican cement standard NMX-C-414-ONNCCE.

It results from the fusion of clay materials and limestone, known as clinker, which, once pulverized and mixed with gypsum — a setting time regulator — produces cement. When this cement is mixed with water and aggregates (gravel and sand), it forms concrete that hardens while maintaining the designed strength and stability.
