Recycled polyolefin agglomerated
The materials covered by this EPD are secondary raw materials obtained from the recycling of plastic waste (polypropylene PP, low density polyethylene LDPE and high density polyethylene HDPE) of pre-consumer origin.
The study covered a range of materials obtained from various industrial processes waste: polypropylene raffia, polypropylene nonwovens, polypropylene and low-density polyethylene film, high-density polyethylene packaging and polypropylene from injection molding origin.
The products obtained from the recycling process are high-quality materials intended for numerous application sectors, such as compounding, construction, packaging, and automotive.
The physical, chemical, and mechanical properties are of the highest level, thanks to a recycling process that maximizes the value of the waste and converts it into materials suitable for reuse as is.
Quality and material safety controls are carried out in our in-house laboratory by specialized personnel. Physical, chemical, and mechanical analyses are performed on each load of material (approximately 25 tons), which is delivered to customers with a digitally signed certificate of analysis in accordance with Italian standards UNI 10667 and European standards UNI EN 15343-15344-15345.
An important aspect is that in the recycling phase, no type of additives or master colorants are used, which thus allows us to obtain 100% recycled secondary raw materials in their natural colour.
