Polypropylene Primary Backing

Mattex PP Primary Backing is a woven polypropylene (PP) fabric used as a primary backing layer in carpet systems. Its primary function is to provide dimensional stability and structural support during carpet manufacturing and throughout the service life of the finished product.

The product may be used in:

• Broadloom (wall-to-wall) carpets

• Tufted carpets

• Residential and commercial carpet applications

• Automotive carpet systems

• Area rugs and mats

The product is manufactured from polypropylene (PP) resin with minor additive components and is supplied in roll form.
