Secondary Backing

Mattex Secondary Backing is a lightweight woven polypropylene fabric used as a secondary backing layer in carpet systems. Its primary function is to provide dimensional stability and mechanical support to the finished carpet product during installation and use.

The product is manufactured from virgin polypropylene resin with minor additive components. It is supplied in roll form.
