EPD for Precast Pre-stressed Slabs
Precast pre-stressed slabs are manufactured using precision casting moulds. Reinforcement bars and strand wires are carefully positioned in the mould, with the strand wires pre-stressed to enhance the slab's structural integrity. Once the setup is complete, concrete is poured into the mould and mechanically compacted to ensure uniform density. The slab surface is then roughened to improve adhesion to the in-situ topping. After the concrete reaches the required strength, the steel tendon wires are cut, inducing compression within the panels. Shear connectors are installed to further enhance the bond between the precast panels and the topping, ensuring durable, robust structural performance. The product is intended for use in building and civil engineering applications.
