mageba’s elastomeric bearings are precision-engineered structural components designed to facilitate controlled load transfer and movement between building or bridge elements. These bearings ensure structural integrity while accommodating rotations and displacements, making them ideal for a wide range of applications in infrastructure, buildings, and industrial structures.

Elastomeric Bearings are manufactured using high-quality elastomer, either natural rubber (NR) or chloroprene rubber (CR) reinforced with internal steel plates. These materials are chemically bonded through vulcanization, forming a shear- and pressure-resistant unit. The steel plates are fully enclosed within the elastomer, ensuring permanent protection against corrosion.
