Galvanized Coils (GHR&GCR)

Galvanized Coil is a flat steel product manufactured by hot-dip zinc coating applied to both surfaces of pickled hot rolled steel or cold-rolled full hard steel. Accordingly, the product is supplied as Galvanized Hot Rolled Coil (GHR) when produced from PHR, and as Galvanized Cold Rolled Coil (GCR) when produced from CRF.

The zinc coating provides corrosion protection, while surface quality A or B can be achieved. Depending on customer requirements, the surface condition may include chromate treatment, oiling, or organic coating. The product is supplied in coil form and may be further processed through slitting, cut-to-length, or profiling operations.
