Pickled Hot-Rolled Coil (PHR)

Pickled Hot Rolled Steel Coil is a flat steel product manufactured by hot rolling followed by a pickling process to remove surface oxide scale. After pickling, the product is oiled to provide temporary protection against atmospheric corrosion during storage and transportation.

The product is supplied in coil form or further processed through slitting or cut-to-length operations according to customer requirements. Pickled hot rolled steel coils are used in automotive and related industries, wheel rim manufacturing, construction, general manufacturing, and the production of pressurized vessels.
