Multical Calculator

The calculator module processes flow and temperature signals to determine thermal energy consumption in heating, cooling, or combined systems. It supports electronic or mechanical flow sensors and up to three temperature sensors. The unit includes an LCD display requiring power which is delivered by the power supply module (see below description of modular product system). It contains programmable electronics and interfaces for data integration and configuration. The difference in functionality between calculators is described in the following:

The calculator modules are part of a modular product system - a thermal energy meter consisting of a calculator unit, ultrasonic flow sensor, paired temperature sensors, a communication module, and a battery power supply. The system measures thermal energy in water-based heating and cooling installations.
