Phenolic Foam Insulation

Insultherm® Phenolic Foam (PF) is a rigid, CFC and HCFC-free cellular foam insulation material characterized by its predominantly closed-cell structure. Its polymer composition is primarily derived from the poly-condensation of phenol, its related compounds, and/or derivatives with aldehydes and ketones. Notably, Insultherm® Phenolic Foam possesses several unique properties that distinguish it from conventional insulation materials, including an exceptionally low thermal conductivity (K-Value = 0.018 W/m.K). 

It finds applications in various areas such as chilled water pipe and duct insulation, condensate water, cold water, water supply and hot water insulation, cold insulation for equipment, vessels, and tanks, as well as roof, wall, cavity wall, and soffit insulations, and within EIFS & ETICS systems. High-density versions are also used for thermal pipe and duct support inserts. 

Key benefits include cost-effectiveness, low water absorption, extended lifespan, resistance to rodents and insects, corrosion and chemical resistance, and a wide service temperature range spanning from -180 °C to +125 °C.

Insultherm® Phenolic Foam (PF) Insulation holds certifications from the Dubai Civil Defense (DCD) and the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense (ADCD). Furthermore, Insultherm® Phenolic Foam insulation material has received approval from numerous reputable consultants, demonstrating excellent technical compliance that meets or exceeds all requirements of the ASTM C 1289 standard.
