Sandwich wall panel with EPS core, thickness between 100 and 150 mm, and double steel facings
Insulated wall sandwich panels are building envelope elements. They consist of two external metal facings in sheet steel enclosing an insulating core. This EPD considers sandwich panels with a expanded polystyrene (EPS) core, with thicknesses ranging from 100 to 150 mm.
The metal sheets are made of steel, shaped by profiling, and protected against corrosion through galvanization and pre-painting. The declared insulating panels can be used for the walls of industrial, commercial, civil, livestock, food, and healthcare buildings. They are lightweight, versatile, and easy to install, providing thermal and acoustic insulation, strength, airtightness and watertightness, as well as fire safety.
