Aluminium anchoring systems
The aluminium anchoring systems are designed into a back ventilated façade system consisting of stone elements in accordance to the German regulatory system for construction products and construction techniques. Each product is individually designed to fit the requirements of each construction site.
The anchoring system serves to fasten the stone facade elements to a building. The products further allow for thermal ventilation effects between the facade and the building ‘s wall, which improves the building ‘s climatization and reduces risk of water damage behind the facade. These systems further provide room to hide necessary elements such as a rain drainage system behind the facade to provide a more appealing architectural design.
Buildings built with a back ventilated facade system are considered to have a high longevity. The technical lifespan is considered to be 50 years. However, the actual lifespan can be longer.
The anchoring systems are further designed to be reused in case of damages to the stone elements requiring a facade renovation.
The products are made primarily out of aluminium, specifically the material EN AW 1050, EN AW 5083, EN AW 5754, EN AW 6060, EN AW 6063, EN AW 6082 and EN AW 6106. As the product represents construction modules, the product also includes items beside the main component, such as screws, nuts, and plain bearings, depending on the project. These items are made of the either A4 material or plastic to avoid corrosion effects and maintain the systems integrity. Additionally, items made from Kömadur or Promat can be also included in certain instances to avoid electrical effects which can diminish the fastening effect of the system.
