Bake Hardening Steel-180（BH180）

 BH180 is formed after hot 

rolling, acid washing, cold rolling, annealing, 

and hot-dip zinc plating. VAMA's BH steel has 

ultimate tensile strength (UTS) from 300 MPa 

to 430 MPa and minimum material elongation 

of above 30%. The special design of 

composition and processing technology 

significantly improves BH steel's yield strength 

in low-temperature heat treatment, especially 

in paint baking. Thanks to this, VAMA's BH 

steel can provide higher strength while 

maintaining good formability. Through "bake 

hardening" (BH) process, the yield strength 

can usually be increased by more than 35 

MPa.
