Under Sleeper Pad, type USP-R-05,5f-MFF

Under Sleeper Pads (USP) are tailor-made resilient systems designed to reduce track maintenance, increase the quality of the track and provide vibration mitigation by fixing elastic elements to the underside of sleepers. The pads are designed to be attached during sleeper production by means of Pandrol USP Micro-Filament Fastenings (MFF®) technology.

USP-R-05,5f-MFF is an Under Sleeper Pad composed of 2 components; an active pad made of high quality resin-bonded recycled rubber which provides resilience and the MFF® bonding layer which guarantees a perfect fixation of the USP onto a concrete sleeper during its production. The USP with MFF® technology has a flat surface with a total weight of 6.11 kg/m² of agglomerated rubber using more than 90% of recycled material.

The product has a surface of 0.44 m² and a weight of 2.82 kg. The lifespan is assumed to be 50 years.
