Sleeper Screw
Production takes place in a hot-forming process: In the first step, steel bars are sheared to defined lengths. These pins are then heated, a head is pressed on and the thread is rolled.
Depending on customer requirements, a washer is attached to some products and the sleeper screw is hot-dip galvanized. The sleeper screws are used as fasteners for the track superstructure and are used in ballast tracks or in the fixed track.
