Australian Sawn White Cypress Timber

This industry-wide EPD covers Australian-produced sawn White Cypress timber products. White Cypress forestry and the processing of sawlogs into sawn timber products is undertaken at numerous sites in Queensland and New South Wales.

The declared unit is 1 cubic metre of sawn White Cypress timber. The scope is ‘cradle-to-gate’ with options. The production stage includes forestry, log haulage, processing, planing and packaging. 

The document complies with the requirements for an industry-wide EPD under the Green Building Council of Australia’s Green Star rating system and the Infrastructure Sustainability (IS) rating scheme of the Infrastructure Sustainability Council.
