AquaForce® 30XV Variable Speed Air-Cooled Screw Chiller
The AquaForce® 30XV air-cooled screw chillers deliver high-efficiency cooling with an IPLV exceeding 22.5 and EER values above 11.0. Each unit features a DC link reactor for optimized fan and compressor performance and multiple independent circuits for enhanced redundancy and reliability. The electronic expansion valve (EXV) ensures precise control, while a remote evaporator supports up to 50-ft refrigerant lines for flexible installation. Control options include BACnet™, Modbus®, and LON Translator controls, available as factory-installed or field-installed accessories. The Novation heat exchanger with microchannel (MCHX) condenser coil reduces refrigerant charge by up to 30%. Equipped with Greenspeed® intelligence, these chillers offer superior efficiency in a single chassis, ranging from 140 to 500 tons, using environmentally friendly R-513A refrigerant. Variable-speed condenser fans enable operation from -20°F (-29°C) to 125.6°F (52°C), ensuring adaptability to various conditions. The units feature a smaller footprint, reduced complexity, free cooling capability, remote connectivity, low sound optimization, and easy installation. Energy-saving features like variable speed control minimize energy consumption and operating costs.
The AquaForce® 30XV Variable Speed Air-Cooled Screw Chiller units range in tonnage from 140 ton to 500 tons. The 500 ton AquaForce® 30XV Variable Speed Air-Cooled Screw Chiller Unit has been selected for Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Modeling and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) reporting due to its significant production volume and sales. The LCA analysis is conducted on the specific configuration mentioned above, reflecting the current evaluation parameters for this air-cooled screw chiller.
