Acoustic and thermal resistant insulation of rigid, pre-formed, biosoluble mineral wool. It is presented in half-round sections in dimensions adjusted to the actual external diameters of commercial steel pipes. The material is water repellent and consists of fibres bonded with thermo-resistant resin. The outer face can be fitted with an aluminium foil vapour barrier reinforced with fibreglass mesh and kraft paper (FRK).
