MISCELA SILCON SSC

This is a silicate mixture consisting of three components in the solution: silica liquor, reagent, and carboslurry, specifically used in the consolidation sector. The consolidation and waterproofing treatments are fundamental and widely used procedures during the construction phase of underground structures. These interventions are aimed, on the one hand, at improving the mechanical stability of the soil by increasing its strength and reducing the risk of settlements or deformations and, on the other hand, at ensuring water protection by preventing infiltrations within the underground structures. The main goal of these treatments is to ensure the structural safety and durability of the work, minimizing risks related to the presence of groundwater and the geotechnical characteristics of the soil. 

Depending on the desired characteristics, different performance profiles can be achieved. The SILCON SSC mixture is distinguished by its low initial viscosity, which gradually increases over time until it solidifies, with a setting time that varies based on dosage and temperature.
