Sigma RR, RW and RWs mineral wool core panels
This EPD evaluates the environmental impacts of the production of 1 m2 of the weighted average (based on the production masses of each panel) steel-mineral wool panels (RR, RW or RWs) with a thickness of 80 mm.
Sigma-RR panels are roof covering self-supporting composite components, manufactured with non-combustible mineral wool core, enclosed by two steel shaped sheets. The external steel sheet is trapezoidally corrugated and the internal is slightly modulated, according to architect’ s choice. The minimum recommended slope is 5% for roofs covered by one piece panel & 7% for roofs covered by two or more pieces of panel. Further from roof covering, they can be also applied to side covering, installed both horizontally and vertically, providing unique aesthetics.
Sigma-RW panels are self-supporting wall composite components with invisible joint, manufactured with non-combustible mineral wool core, enclosed by two slightly modulated steel sheets, according to architect’ s choice. They are an excellent choice for external wall systems, whose invisible joint guaranties building envelopes with high aesthetic performance and fire protection. They are also ideally suited to internal partition walls of food or pharmacy industry, serving heavy wash down needs. Sigma-RW panels can be installed both vertically and horizontally.
