Supply

The power supply module consists of either a battery solution or either 24 VAC, 24 VDC or 230 VAC power adapter but delivers the same function to a product system: Electricity throughout the Reference Service Life. The battery device is typically powered by a long-life lithium-thionyl chloride (Li-SOCl₂) D-cell battery designed for multi-year operation (up to 20+ years, 61,2 Wh of nominal energy). The representative product module is the grid-connected 230 VAC Power Supply HC99307.

The power supply module is part of a modular product system - a thermal energy meter consisting of a calculator unit, ultrasonic flow sensor, paired temperature sensors, a communication module, and a battery power supply. The system measures thermal energy in water-based heating and cooling installations. Part of configurable smart thermal meter.
