IQOS ILUMA i™

IQOS ILUMA i™ is part of the IQOS ILUMA i™ series heat-not-burn smoke-free systems, designed for adult smokers, who otherwise continue to smoke or use other nicotinecontaining products.

The IQOS ILUMA iTM is the latest generation of IQOS devices—that heat specially designed SMARTCORETM STICKS —and a new addition to PMI’s smoke-free products portfolio.

IQOS ILUMA i™ is a portable electronic device which heats tobacco without burning it to release a nicotine-containing aerosol. It works using the SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™. This induction system heats SMARTCORE STICKS™ from within—designed to be used only with IQOS ILUMA.

These sticks, which contain an internal heating element, are inserted into the device by consumers, and are disposed of after use.

IQOS ILUMA i™ is provided as a kit containing one Holder and one Pocket Charger. The Holder allows to heat the dedicated SMARTCORETM STICKS while the Pocket Charger allows to recharge the Holder. The Holder includes a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery. The Pocket Charger includes a second Lithium-ion battery of bigger capacity. The device holder is equipped with a Touch Screen.

The Holder and Pocket Charger can communicate through their magnetic connector, while the Pocket Charger can communicate with another device, such as a smartphone, through a Bluetooth Low Energy radio link.

IQOS ILUMA i ONE™ is for adults who would otherwise continue to smoke or use other nicotine products. IQOS ILUMA i™ is not risk free and delivers nicotine which is addictive.
