Pipe Pile Products using Repurposed Steel Tubulars

TThe structural steel tubular (pipe) is made from welded hot rolled steel with an average size of 9.625” outside diameter x 0.352” wall (36 lbs/ft) by 61.24 feet per 1 tonne. In metric units, this is equivalent to 24.65cm x 0.894cm (53.57kg/m) by 18.67m in length per 1 tonne. T

The basic ubulars covered in this EPD are sourced and supplied from pipe mill secondary and oil field surplus across the USA and imported from numerous international locations. The tubulars are repurposed for use in piling applications for building foundations. There are minimal other reuse market for these tubulars in the USA, aside from recycling as scrap steel.

The tubular is fabricated into 6 different products.

  • Driven pipe pile
  • Micropile
  • Helicall Pipe -cut and cleaned
  • Endformed driven pipe pile extension
  • Endformed Helical Pipe Pile extensions
  • Offshore contiiner load
