1 KG OF ALUMINIUM PROFILES PRODUCED BY: HYDRO ALUMINIUM AS AND ANODALL EXTRUSION SPA

One kilogram of extruded profiled raw aluminium made from 606035 Hydro 4.0 alloy, produced by supplier Hydro Aluminium as (Norway), is analyzed as a functional unit.

Extrusion alloy 6060 is the most widely used alloy (it covers 85 percent of general aluminium production worldwide). It is typically used in construction, furniture, automotive and for electrical-mechanical parts such as heat sinks or engine casings. Sections made from this alloy can also be very complex and thin in thickness and, on average, have mechanical properties that are not high. Products with this alloy also lend themselves to various surface finishes including painting and anodizing, with very high quality results, but these will not be considered in this study.

The entire production flow is carried out at the organization's headquarters, at Via del Lavoro 1 - 37060 Trevenzuolo, in the province of Verona (Italy).
