This PCR is currently under development. The open consultation phase will start with an e-mail invitation to identified stakeholders to the product group as representatives of different organisations. Any stakeholder is welcome to provide comments during this phase of the PCR development.

This document provides Product Category Rules (PCR) for the assessment of the environmental performance of Fish fillets and meat; fish livers and roes and the declaration of this performance by an EPD. The product category corresponds to following the subclasses:

CPC 21221 Fish fillets and fish meat (whether or not minced),

CPC 21222 Fish fillets, frozen

CPC 21223 Fish meat, whether or not minced, frozen

Fish is intended either from seawater or freshwater and both wild caught or from aquaculture. This PCR only covers products intended for human consumption.

This PCR does not cover the following, related UN CPC codes:

21224 Fish fillets, dried, salted or in brine, but not smoked

21225 Fish livers and roes, fresh or chilled

21226 Fish livers and roes, frozen

21227 Fish livers and roes dried, smoked, salted or in brine
