First EPD registrations from South Korea and China announced at the stakeholder conference

The first EPD registrations from South Korea and China were announced during the EPD International Stakeholder Conference in Brussels.

The first EPD come from the company CJ Cheiljedang and declares the environmental impact of glass noodles. A small handover ceremony was arranged in Stockholm, where the certificate of EPD registration was handed over to the company:

"I am very pleased to see CJ Cheiljedang register the first EPD from South Korea in the International EPD® System, becoming a forerunner for EPD in the region," says Kristian Jelse, programme manager.

The second EPD come from Zhejiang Pretec Metal Products Co, and declared the environmental impacts of the construction products NC-Bolt and Pc-Bolt in accordance with the EN 15804 standard.

With the addition of the two EPDs from China and South Korea there are now EPDs from organisations in 42 countries registered in the International EPD® System.
