GREEN Power Transformer

The ATR 15T037 250MVA product, the "green" transformer, is an innovative product environmentally sustainable and eco-efficient, isolated to ester oil instead of with mineral oil. The product provides benefits to the environment and health by committing to preserve the environment, providing:

• an increase in the transformer life due to a longer cellulose based insulation life present inside;
• a limited risk of pollution (in case of spillage or loss) because the ester oil is biodegradable and less toxic and limits the risk of pollution during operation, installation and end of life;
• a greater safety (toxicity and anti-fire), because the ester oil has a higher flash point greater than double that of mineral oil. This makes it possible to practically reduce the possibility of fire ignition to zero as a result of a fault;
• a reduction of the impact related to the site construction due to smaller distances between transformers, collection tank no longer indispensable, even if still required by rules;
