The following documents shall accompany an EPD application:

• Registration form for EPD 
  
• A copy of the approved verification,
• The EPD (word or pdf document),
• A short description and high resolution picture(s) of the declared product or service, as well as company logotype

The application shall be sent to: registration@environdec.com

The applicant will receive a formal confirmation of the registration with the relevant registration number for the product/service and the EPD will immediately be published on the Internet.

Cost and fees

There is a fee structure connected to the registration and publication of approved EPDs within the framework of the International EPD® System including a registration fee (as a once and-for-all cost) and an annual fee. The fees are intended to cover the costs for managing the International EPD®system including the global marketing of organisations having EPD®s. The fees also cover the costs for the Secretariat.

The registration fee is a single payment, for one EPD® it is €1000, for two EPDs; €1500 and for three or four EPDs; €2000. For organisations planning to register five or more EPDs, there are special prize arrangements, contact the Secretariat for more information. The fee also includes the registration of climate declarations.

The annual fee (regardless of the number of EPDs/climate declarations) is €1000 for small and medium sized organisations (less than 250 employees) and €2500 for large organisations (more than 250 employees).

All international transactions are exempt from VAT.

EPD Logotype

Following the registration the organisation having the EPD can make use of the EPD® logotype for various market purposes.
