There is a clear market pressure for expanding the scope of EPDs, not only covering environmental aspects but also social and economic aspects. Therefore a development towards more comprehensive “sustainability declarations” is inevitable. What's your take on this?

There is a clear opportunity to extend the scope of environmental product/service declarations to include lifecycle social and economic aspects and impacts. The Institute for Sustainable Communication (www.sustaincom.org) is a non-profit organization that is particularly interested in the development of EPDs and more inclusive Sustainability declarations for print, digital and experiential media products and services.
